What we do - for students Abacus provides college consulting and specialized tutoring services primarily for high school, college, and post-graduate students. Consulting services are geared towards helping students identify, evaluate, and gain admission to targeted universities, for undergraduate and post-graduate studies including law, medicine, business, and the sciences & humanities. Also, AbacusTD advises students with special mitigating issues such as long-term absences, disciplinary records, substance abuse recovery, and legal infractions. Our consulting clients' needs have ranged from one-time consultations to weekly meetings to on-call impromptu meetings whenever needed.

We believe academic achievement is not an end goal in itself but a part of a bigger picture on a path towards college admissions and career success. Tutoring is customized and designed to achieve specific objectives such as targeted course grades or test scores for SAT, ACT, or AP exams. AbacusTD also provides specialized tutoring services for exceptionally gifted young children and children with ADHD, bipolar disorder, or other learning disabilities. |
